Do you provide any vaccines/medications/Health guarantee for the puppies?

Your puppy will have their first round of vaccines between 7-8 weeks of age. You will need to take them to a vet for their next vaccines due at 12 and 16 weeks.

We give our puppies a dewormer medication at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age. You will need to continue treatment at 12 weeks, 16 weeks, 6 months, and 1 year.

what kind of health screening is done on each puppy?

Your puppy will have a thorough health check by a certified Veterinarian at 7-8 weeks of age. You will receive a copy of the veterinary report and any abnormal findings will be disclosed to you.

how many dogs do you own for breeding and who are the parents in all the photos?

We own a female Labradoodle- Stormy and a female Goldendoodle -Sierra!

Stormy is the mother of all the puppies in our current litter and photos. She is an F2 Labradoodle. This is her first litter with the sire (Captain). Captain is an F2 Goldendoodle who lives local to us, we do not own him. With this Double Doodle designer breed crossing a Labradoodle with a Goldendoodle, you can expect them to have quite similar temperaments as their parents- social, loving, and playfull, therefore excellent companions for families with kids as well- making this an absolute winning combination in a dog!

What is a double doodle?

A Double Doodle is a medium-sized dog that is a hybrid mix of Golden Retrievers, Poodles, and Labrador Retrievers. They have a friendly disposition and a great personality, making them wonderful family dogs.

What is the difference between f1 and f2 doodles?

These terms refer to the variations of the doodle breed. F1 is the first generation, meaning the dog is a cross between a purebred Golden Retriever or Labrador and a purebred Poodle. F2 is the result of breeding two F1 doodles together.

Temperaments are similar as they are both very intelligent, easy to train, affectionate, eager to please, and loving.

are your puppies hypoallergenic?

No dog is truly hypoallergenic as all dogs shed to some degree. Some people could be allergic to the saliva of a dog and not their coat. However, their curly coats do make them low shedding and more hypoallergenic than most dogs.

Our puppies are F2 Double Doodles and are known to be more hypoallergenic. The amount of hair your dog sheds varies between puppies, but generational differences can also play a role. First-generation doodles shed slightly more than second-generation doodles, with multigenerational Labradoodles shedding even less.

If you’re looking for an allergy-friendly dog, second-generation and beyond are recommended.

Are your dogs akc, ukc, ckc registered?

Double Doodles cannot be registered with a kennel club as they are a mixed breed. Only purebred dogs can be registered.

How does the puppy selection process work?

The puppy selection goes in the order of a $500 deposit received. You will then come to our house to see the puppies in person at around 5 weeks of age to make a selection. We are able to Facetime as well. We will update you with photos, videos and information on the puppies you are interested in from the time they are born until you make your selection. This way you can pick a puppy on personality as well as gender/coat color.

do you offering shipment of puppies?

We do not ship our puppies, but we can meet in person at an airport in Southern California.

Will my puppy be potty trained/crate trained/sleep trained by the time they go home?

We will begin the process of potty, crate, and sleep training but it does take a few months for them to be 100% trained.

We will lay the foundation and begin working on these at an age appropriate time. We will give you guidance and written information on how to continue training your new puppy once you take them home.

what methods do you use for raising puppies?

Our puppies are raised as a part of our family. Three days after they are born we perform ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) which introduces mild stresses in a controlled way. These stresses help stimulate the neurological system to improve the growth and development of their immune and cardiovascular systems. It is also shown to help with stress tolerance.

As they grow, we will transition into a puppy massage that will get them used to being touched by different people and children.

We include early socialization with people of all ages. We want them to know that people are safe and loving.

Our puppies are born in our home and they grow up listening to the sounds of our everyday life with a kids. We also play a desensitizing soundtrack for them and we gradually increase the sound as they grow. This includes sounds of fireworks, city noises, car alarms, doorbells, and babies crying.

We also introduce our puppies to various types of surfaces, play objects, locations in the house, car rides, and challenges like climbing over obstacles. We want them to be confident when they experience something new.

how much will the puppies weigh when they are full grown?

They are expected to weigh between 45-50 pounds
